In a world where any song is just one tap away, we've gained convenience but lost something precious: the anticipation, ritual, and deep engagement that made music listening a memorable experience. Tiles is a tangible music player that bridges the gap between digital accessibility and analogue engagement, transforming music consumption back into music enjoyment.

Through an interdisciplinary collaboration between interaction and industrial designers, we explored how physical interfaces and artificial sounds could restore music listening as the sophisticated, social process it was meant to be. The result is a two-part system that honors your personal music library while reintroducing the mechanical ritual of album selection and playback.
